Sonic Rivals (PSP) screens - Metal Sonic confirmed
Sega recently released some new screens confirming that Metal Sonic will indeed be the secret character in Sonic Rivals, the PSP racer due out in November.

In a recent interview with Ogawa Yojiro at Gamekult, some new details about the Sonic the Hedgehog game for the Wii were revealed.
1. The game will have 70 “missions”
2. Approx. 10 hours to finish all the missions, that does not include getting all the medals and hidden stuff.
3. Over 30 mini-games with up to four players
4. Sonic is the only playable character (unclear whether this includes the multiplayer mode also).
5. Possiblity of having downloadable content in the future.

Sonic GBA remake details
The original Sonic The Hedgehog that broke the speed barrier wide open on the SEGA Genesis is now on the Game Boy Advance. The game has seven original gravity-defying stages that have been perfectly ported over to let players experience this classic on Game Boy Advance. Navigate through loop-de-loops of Green Hill Zone, zoom past waterfalls, and dash over molten lava at Sonic's trademark super speedy pace while collecting gold rings.
In celebration of Sonic's 15th birthday, Sonic The Hedgehog Genesis includes a special anniversary mode, in which players will be able to use Sonic's Spin Dash ability to get them out of dangerous situations. Also, for the first time in the original Sonic The Hedgehog, players will be able to save their progress and high scores throughout the seven stages. Play the original that started it all.

- Unlock Songs from the Original Soundtrack: As players progress through the game they'll be rewarded with the sweet sounds of the original in-game music.

Glu Launches Sonic The Hedgehog: Part 2

Glu Mobile announced recently that Sonic the Hedgehog Part 2 has launched across multiple European carriers. The title contains the last three worlds of Sega's Mega Drive classic Sonic the Hedgehog - Labyrinth Zone, Star Light Zone, and Scrap Brain Zone.
Mobile gamers who have purchased Part 1 can import their score, lives, and Chaos Emeralds into Part 2, allowing the two mobile ports to form a complete port of the original title.
"Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the best-known gaming titles, and its original adaptation for mobile was incredibly well-received by mobile gamers," said Kristian Segerstrale, managing director, EMEA, Glu Mobile. "The game's fast pace and advanced gameplay give it a highly compelling console-like experience on a mobile phone."
"Glu has proved to be incredibly successful in the translation of Sega's original console games to wireless platforms," stated Darren Newnham, business development manager, Sega Europe. Lacey Chabert in Sonic the Hedgehog
Sega recently announced 'Mean Girls' star, Lacey Chabert, will voice Princess Elise in Sonic The Hedgehog. Chabert's diverse experience includes live-acting TV and movie roles (Party of Five, Lost in Space) and voice acting parts (Lion King II and Meg from Family Guy in the first season).
This marks the first time Hollywood talent will be featured in a Sonic game.

Sega announced a Japanese release date and pricing for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog PS3 Title.
Sonic the Hedgehog, is going on sale December 21st for 7,140 yen. So how much is each title in US dollars? Approximately $60. That's actually somewhat reasonable.

Sonic Xbox 360 Playable Demo
SEGA has finally come good with a playable demo of the much anticipated upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog title. Available now via the Xbox 360 Marketplace in the US and Japan, the demo weighs in at 315MB including a short playable Sonic stage.
Now, people are saying some drastic changes need to be made to the game to make it a great game!
Problems reported from some players so far...
